We are currently seeking to hire individuals to assist with health underwriting.

Job Description

• This position underwrites applications for insurance to assess morbidity risk within Management Research Services (MRS) guidelines to assure equitable treatment of our client companies, and their applicants for insurance and producers, in order to meet MRS and client company growth and profit objectives.
• Determine whether to accept, modify or decline a risk through evaluation of an individual's medical history or physical condition, occupational hazards, financial background insurable interest and other information pertinent to the decision.

Requirements

• Two (2) or more years of health underwriting experience
• Experience in an imaging environment a plus
• Industry designations/studies preferred
• Bachelor's degreee preferred or equivalent work experience
• Strong technical knowlege; medical, financial and product
• Proven analytical and decision-making skills
• Superior communication skills
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Assume accountability of case to completion
• Work-at-home position which requires a cable connection
